We Protect The Pack

A Florida-native, Aaron Natoniewski fell in love with the rugged Western Slope lifestyle so much so it's where he decided to start a family — and no ordinary family at that. He lives with his wife, two young daughters, and 14 dogs.

From adopting shelter dogs to learning how to run with them on a sled, Aaron took an impromptu but determined leap into the world of competitive dog sledding. A natural talent on the sled, Aaron has an ability to form meaningful relationships with each dog and an endless appreciation of this special pack. In his eyes, how they work together is the definition of beauty.

We Protect The Dance

After retiring, Ron Black founded the San Juan Dance Club as a way to keep busy. Dancing everything from the waltz to the Cowboy Cha Cha, word spread quickly of the fun being had and soon couples and eligible singles from across the Western Slope were showing up to Ron’s weekly classes. Creating an atmosphere in which two people can find each other is the true magic of the dance club. Through the San Juan Dance Club, Ron has given the town of Montrose a reason to dance.

We Protect The Dream

Ever since Tanith Martinez was a young girl she wanted to fly. Fast forward twenty years and Tanith is soaring the skies of the Western Slope in her own Cessna 182, operating and instructing out of one of the highest elevation airports in Colorado. An accomplished pilot, business owner, and mom, Tanith is the real-deal embodiment of “if you can dream it, you can do it”. Navigating through the mountain peaks at 10,000 ft with her daughter Atlee in the co-pilot seat, Tanith has made her childhood dream come true.

We Protect Family

Eric Farr has traveled the world performing gravity-defying, freestyle motocross stunts. A demanding profession that puts him on the road, he cherishes every moment with his son Aiden and wife Kayleigh. Now with a baby girl on the way, there isn't any place he would rather be than home with his family.

We Protect Trailblazers

Tianna Davis has never minded proving people wrong and doing what no one thought she could. This includes running her own rodeo and riding 1,500 lb. bulls. She is a bonafide young cowgirl who is anything but traditional, and a shining embodiment of a trailblazer through and through.

We Protect The Future

Jojo Whitaker came to live with Doug & ReChelle Evans as a misunderstood boy. After welcoming him into their rugby family, it didn't take long for Jojo to realize his potential. Through the Grand Junction Griffins Rugby Club, the Evans' have provided futures for many young men like Jojo and built a forever bond of family among Griffins.
